Logistics Project Manager, Associate Director, Hybrid

Job DescriptionThe Global Clinical Supply (GCS) organization is responsible for managing the end-to-end integrated clinical supply chain across the Company’s Research Laboratories portfolio of clinical trials. GCS oversees the sourcing, labeling, packaging, and global distribution of clinical supplies to clinical sites worldwide.The GCS Logistics pillar serves as a critical interface between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clinical supply networks are designed to enable the efficient, compliant, and timely movement of investigational product across dynamic global supply chains. This role will support logistics initiatives across upstream divisions to strengthen the overall logistics and distribution experience, improve operational execution, and enhance cross-functional alignment across the clinical supply network.Partner with upstream and downstream stakeholders to identify, lead, and support logistics initiatives that improve the end-to-end distribution experience.Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Supply Planning, Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMOs), Trade Compliance, and third-party providers to ensure seamless logistics execution.Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners to drive issue resolution, enhance coordination, and support timely clinical supply movement.Support the design and implementation of distribution strategies that enable efficient, compliant, and reliable delivery of investigational product to global clinical sites.Monitor logistics performance, identify process gaps or risks, and recommend solutions to improve service levels, responsiveness, and operational effectiveness.Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across clinical supply logistics processes, systems, and stakeholder interactions.Manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on quality, compliance, and business needs.Education:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years’ experience in supply chain, preferably in pharmaceutical clinical supply chain.- OR -High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum 10 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Operations.Qualifications:Working knowledge of international shipping documentation, customs processes, and international shipment execution.Familiarity with global supply chain participants, including brokers, freight forwarders, importers, CMOs/Contract Research Organization CROs, and depot/warehouse providers.Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and evolving business needs.Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.Demonstrated interpersonal effectiveness and ability to influence across functions.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based applications.Preferred Skills:Strong understanding of clinical supply processes and applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and regulatory requirements.Experience with SAP or similar enterprise supply chain systems.Familiarity with clinical supply trial operations, including packaging, labeling, blinding, randomization, and distribution planning.Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.clinicaltrialjobseligibleforERPMSJRRequired Skills: Change Management, Continuous Process Improvement, Cross-Functional Leadership, Logistics Management, Process Optimization, Project Management, Strategic Planning, Strategic Thinking, Supply Change ManagementPreferred Skills: Clinical Supply Chain Management, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, SAP SystemsCurrent Employees apply HERECurrent Contingent Workers apply HEREUS and Puerto Rico Residents Only:Our company is committed to inclusion, ensuring that candidates can engage in a hiring process that exhibits their true capabilities.
