Sales Executive

Our client is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial professional to help expand our presence throughout the Northeast region specifically in Boston City Limits or within an hour from Totowa, NJ . This role is ideal for individuals with technical experience in networking, low-voltage systems, telecommunications, electronics, security systems, infrastructure, or related fields who are looking to leverage their expertise in a customer-facing business development role. Whether you're transitioning from military service, coming from a technical field, or looking to take the next step in your career, this position offers the opportunity to combine technical knowledge with relationship-building, strategic thinking, and sales leadership. As a Sales Executive, you will identify opportunities, develop customer relationships, and help organizations implement innovative parking access and revenue control solutions. This is a proactive sales role focused on creating new business opportunities, influencing project outcomes, and driving growth throughout your assigned territory. What You'll Do ? Identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory. ? Build relationships with facility managers, property owners, contractors, consultants, engineers, and decision-makers. ? Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and customer presentations. ? Leverage your technical knowledge to understand customer requirements and recommend effective solutions. ? Develop strategic plans to position this client for success on upcoming projects. ? Review project specifications, site plans, technical documentation, and bid opportunities. ? Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, Marketing, and Branch Leadership to deliver successful customer outcomes. ? Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer information through Salesforce CRM. ? Stay informed on industry trends, technologies, competitive offerings, and market opportunities. ? Represent this client at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings. Who We're Looking For: We are seeking individuals who are self-motivated, resourceful, and energized by finding and developing new opportunities. Successful candidates typically possess: ? Experience with basic networking, low-voltage systems, telecommunications, security systems, electronics, IT infrastructure, or related technical disciplines. ? A proactive mindset with the ability to open doors, build relationships, and create business opportunities. ? Strong communication and presentation skills. ? The ability to understand technical drawings, blueprints, site plans, and project specifications. ? A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving abilities. ? The discipline to manage multiple priorities while achieving sales objectives. ? Comfort working independently while collaborating across departments. Qualifications ? 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, customer-facing technical support, project management, operations, military leadership, or related fields. ? Valid driver's license. ? Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms. ? Ability to travel within the assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel. ? Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing deadlines and customer expectations.
