HDR is hiring an Inspector Aide to assist our CEI Construction Inspection team on transportation projects. This position will be based at our project site in Orlando, Florida. Primary Responsibilities Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, and stormwater systems. Monitor, record and inspect progress on construction projects Conduct or coordinate field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testing Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Some demonstrated experience in construction inspection Ability to interpret construction schedules Local candidates Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work independently and as part of a team An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must HDR's Drug and Alcohol Policy supports our commitment to employee safety and exceeding client requirements.
