We are expanding our U.S. operations and seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead our plant in North America. About the Role We are seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead our state-of-the-art facility specializing in automation equipment manufacturing and precision machining. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, and test operations. If you have a proven track record scaling complex manufacturing environments, implementing Lean systems, and leading high-performing teams-this is your opportunity to shape the future of a growing operation. What You'll Own Lead all plant operations including CNC machining, metal fabrication, assembly, quality, maintenance, and EHS Drive P&L accountability , capacity planning, and capital investment strategy Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement initiatives Ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and world-class quality standards (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949) Build, coach, and retain a high-performance leadership team Foster a strong safety culture and employee engagement across shifts What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience Strong background in precision machining, automation equipment, or custom machinery Proven success managing multi-shift operations and large, cross-functional teams Expert-level knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma , 5S, Kaizen, TPM Deep understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or similar) Experience with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100 compliance Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, and cost modeling Excellent communication and executive presence Requirements: Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required due to frequent communication and coordination with our headquarters in China.
