Production Supervisor

Supporting and ensuring product being produced meets Cellofoam Quality specifications and requirements. The completion of daily production reports and shift paperwork as required.General understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.Supervise and verify equipment set-up prior to start of a production run, ability to operate and shut down manufacturing equipment.Verify order information and produce part(s) with the correct material, density, weight, size, and/or shape within quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements while meeting productivity standards.Ensuring machine start up, monitor their operations, and record operational data.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Coaching, developing, counseling, and disciplining employees.Perform other production duties as requested by supervisor.Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve issues.Maintain a positive work atmosphere with a culture of respect for others.Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding plant or employee concerns.Maintain a working knowledge and is in full compliance with corporate standards for business conduct and Federal anti-trust laws.Adhere to Cellofoam North America Inc. company focus areas: Safety, Financial, Customer, and People.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
