Chief People Officer - San Francisco Fire Credit Union

San Francisco Fire Credit Union is seeking an accomplished, mission-driven Chief People Officer to join its executive leadership team and lead the transformation of the organization’s people strategy. Reporting to the President and CEO, the CPO will serve as a strategic business partner, aligning talent, culture, organizational capabilities, and workforce planning with the Credit Union’s growth objectives and long-term vision. This executive will modernize the human resources function and build scalable people practices, programs, and systems that strengthen organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and the overall employee experience.

The CPO will oversee human resources and learning and development, including talent acquisition and retention, leadership development, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, and total rewards. This leader will use technology, data, and workforce insights to guide decision-making; equip leaders to manage effectively; and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and accountable culture. A bachelor’s degree and demonstrated success in a senior human resources leadership role are required. Experience leading HR transformation and building people infrastructure within a growing financial institution or similarly regulated organization is strongly preferred.

Compensation

A comprehensive compensation package will be offered to the selected candidate. The targeted range for the base salary of the Chief People Officer is approximately $193,000 to $285,000.
