The Home Comfort Advisor will meet with homeowners who are experiencing heating and cooling issues or are interested in upgrading their HVAC system. You will evaluate their comfort needs, explain available solutions, present system options, and help customers make an informed decision that fits their home and budget. This is a sales-focused position, but our approach is centered around education, professionalism, and finding the right solution for the customer, not high-pressure sales tactics. Responsibilities Run scheduled in-home HVAC replacement and comfort consultations Meet with homeowners and establish trust and rapport Evaluate the customer's heating and cooling needs Inspect existing HVAC equipment and identify replacement opportunities Explain system options, efficiency ratings, warranties, financing, and available upgrades Prepare and present professional proposals Clearly communicate pricing and payment options Follow up with customers on open estimates Maintain accurate records of leads, estimates, and follow-ups Work closely with installation and service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience Maintain strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, products, and comfort solutions Consistently meet or exceed company sales and performance goals Represent the company professionally in customers' homes and throughout the community What We're Looking For Previous HVAC sales experience preferred In-home sales experience strongly preferred HVAC industry knowledge is a major advantage Strong communication and presentation skills Professional appearance and demeanor Confident and comfortable speaking with homeowners Strong closing and negotiation skills Self-motivated and goal-oriented Organized and able to manage multiple estimates and follow-ups Ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand manner Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work occasional evenings and Saturdays when needed Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Uncapped commission opportunity Performance-based bonuses Company-provided leads Established sales process and training Ongoing HVAC and sales training Opportunities for advancement Company support from experienced installation and service teams Paid time off Company vehicle may be available depending on experience and position requirements What Success Looks Like A successful Home Comfort Advisor will: Build genuine relationships with homeowners Provide accurate and professional recommendations Maintain a strong estimate-to-sale conversion rate Generate consistent sales revenue Follow up on every opportunity Maintain excellent customer reviews and satisfaction Communicate effectively with management and installation teams Take ownership of their sales pipeline and results Why Join Us?
