Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a variety of machines, including CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, and other equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the best approach for machining parts.
• Use precision measurement tools to inspect and ensure parts meet the required specifications.
• Program CNC machines for optimal performance, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Assist with tooling and setup procedures, ensuring machines are prepared and ready for operation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production goals are met on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in a machinist role.
• Proficient in operating and programming CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Solid understanding and experience with haas, zoller, and gd&t.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Expertise in precision measurement and tooling procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or vocational training in machining or a related field is preferred.
