Med Tech (Part-Time)

MEDICATION TECHNICIAN Position: Part‑time Pharmacy Management Shift (2 pm‑10:30 pm), Friday & Saturday. Pay Range: $19.50/hour – $21.00/hour, depending on experience. Hiring Event When: Tuesday, June 23rd, 10:30 am–3:30 pm (walk‑ins welcome). Where: Ivy Park at Woodland Hills, 20461 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364. Parking: Limited underground and street parking; loading zone in front of the community and close to Metro bus stop. RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and distribute medication to residents. Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician. Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies. Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records. Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards. Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co‑workers and other departments. QUALIFICATIONS Prefer one (1) year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). Completion of required state‑regulated training or certification may be required. Must be at least 18 years of age. A high school diploma or equivalent; a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a plus. Must be able to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.). Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs. Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families. Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including a physical and TB test. May be required to receive COVID‑19 vaccination, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and wear face coverings or other personal protective equipment as per regulatory guidelines.
