Shifts: Nights and every other weekend; 36 hours/week


Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Johnson City, NY. This role involves providing timely and accurate respiratory therapy services to a range of patients, including critical care and NICU, in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Administers respiratory therapy procedures as directed
• Performs aerosol, CPT, Incentive Spirometry, and bi-level positive airway pressure therapies
• Manages mechanical ventilation and associated alarms
• Conducts diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function screens and EKGs
• Records and reports appropriately on patient conditions
• Manages healthcare information, medication administration, and dispensing systems
• Participates in patient transports as required
• Abides by departmental delivery and safety standards

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory Therapy
• New York State Respiratory Therapy Permit or License
• Registered by the NBRC as a Respiratory Therapist
• BLS and ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Up to three years of experience, including critical care and NICU
• Experience with V60 BiPAP/980 Puritan Bennett Ventilators and EPIC systems
