Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care Unit setting with an average daily census of 24 patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG findings, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within the designated service area
• Participate in facility orientation modules, including both billable and non-billable components, as required by specialty

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in applicable state (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Current experience in Critical Care or Telemetry
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Completed EKG course and/or Telemetry competency test required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Experience working in a high-census stepdown or progressive care environment
