Rehabilitation Aide 0.8 FTE Days

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. Pay range: * Hourly $19.05 - $28.58 The aide's function is to assist various levels of personnel in their related activities. Major portion of time is involved in set-ups for patients, transportation to and from department, assisting in routine ambulation, therapeutic techniques, general clean-up and clerical assignments. Rehabilitation Aide Part-Time 0.8 FTE 32 hours per week Clinic Hours 8 hour Day shift Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma required. * Current BLS certification is required. * Previous Rehab experience preferred. * Demonstrate interpersonal skills. * Demonstrate good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks * Basic computer proficiency * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing * Demonstrate ability to work efficiently Working Conditions: * Well-lit, climate controlled environment. * Minimal potential for exposure to fumes, noise, chemicals, adverse weather conditions. Physical Requirements: * Walking continuously, alternating with standing. Frequent lifting. * Must be able to lift, move or assist patients with help of other staff members using proper body mechanics. * Frequent carrying of 20-30 pounds for distances of up to 100 ft., pushing/pulling, bending, crouching, crawling, squatting, getting in awkward positions and stair-climbing. * Vision correctable to within normal limits. * Hearing to a degree sufficient to respond to emergency situations for staff and patient safety.
