Hotel Emblem San Francisco is looking for a House Attendant to join the team! The room attendant is responsible for cleaning rooms, hallways and other areas as assigned and complying with Company standards. Essential functions and responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: adhering to Pacifica's Pure Stay guidelines to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our team members and guests, utilizing proper protective equipment (PPE) as required and in accordance with property specific guidelines, maintaining a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests, communicating effectively with guests and fellow team members, cleaning entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts, running laundry and emptying housekeepers' trash, cleaning lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, ice and vending machines, maintaining cleanliness of dumpster areas, sand urns, exterior light fixtures, public benches, exterior of guest room doors, shampooing carpets as assigned, turning mattresses as assigned, cleaning guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned, reporting any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor, assisting maintenance department with basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry), providing assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel, performing other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. Skills/abilities/other requirements: basic cleaning skills, basic maintenance skills helpful, ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments, ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members to their understanding desirable, dependable. Pay range: $30-$31.21/hour depending on experience.
