Full-Time Front of the House

Are you interested in popular Japanese food culture? If so, come work for the Bay Area’s only award-winning, authentic Japanese curry brand! Nippon Curry is looking for a cheerful, hard-working, high-energy, positive-minded, cashier/server. You’ll be responsible for taking customers' orders for dine-in and takeout, expediting orders, bussing tables, and keeping the restaurant clean.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers in a warm, cheerful manner, providing high-level customer service.
- Taking food orders and suggestive selling.
- Clearing dishes, wiping tables, and sweeping floors.
- Accepting payment using POS.
- Stocking items and handling inventory.
- The restaurant is open for business everyday.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Able to do basic math and handle cash.
- Able to open and/or close the restaurant.
- Able to stand for extended durations of time.
- Able to connect with customers.
