What You'll Do

As the Staffing Coordinator , you'll help manage the facility's daily staffing needs and ensure appropriate coverage across nursing shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate daily staffing needs and fill open shifts

• Secure coverage for call-offs, vacancies, and open shifts

• Create and maintain accurate staffing schedules

• Coordinate staff assignments and rotating schedules

• Monitor employee attendance and overtime

• Maintain daily staffing reports and records

• Work closely with nursing leadership and Human Resources

• Partner with the payroll team to verify payroll accuracy

• Review employee vacation requests prior to final approval

• Provide facility tours to newly hired employees

• Help identify staffing challenges and develop solutions

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Current CNA certification OR LPN license

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to multitask and prioritize changing staffing needs

• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented

Previous healthcare staffing or scheduling experience is a plus, but not required.
