Cost Accountant
Virtual Vocations Inc
Supporting the organization's manufacturing and inventory accounting processes, the full-time Cost Accountant will manage cost analysis, financial reporting, and inventory valuation while collaborating with various operational teams to enhance data-driven decision-making. Key responsibilities Support month-end close processes and prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations Analyze inventory metrics and assist in maintaining internal controls and compliance procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present financial analysis and recommendations to management Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience Demonstrated experience in manufacturing cost accounting and financial reporting Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle Fusion Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate financial analysis effectively to business leaders
