About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of HR to lead the development and execution of HR strategies that support the organization's high-growth, private equity-backed journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving M&A integration, shaping company culture, and building scalable people strategies to support the business's expansion. Key responsibilities include leading the HR function, acting as a strategic partner to executive leadership, overseeing talent, retention, and succession planning, and ensuring compliance with all HR-related regulations. The role also involves managing HR due diligence, integration planning, and standardizing policies across acquired businesses. Applicants for the Head of HR position at the company must have a proven track record in payroll leadership, HR compliance, workplace safety programs, and M&A integration. Essential behaviors for success in this role include being highly accountable, results-oriented, and commercially astute. The ideal candidate will have 10-12+ years of progressive HR experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, and a strong background in multi-site and operational workforces. Experience in a private equity-backed business environment, particularly in construction, infrastructure, industrial services, or similar operational industries, is essential. The role requires a hands-on leader with strong problem-solving capabilities, the ability to earn credibility with both executive and frontline teams, and a commitment to driving organizational change and business transformation initiatives.
