Start your journey today and join our skilled team.We are seeking a Project Executive to support some of the most innovative, complex, and large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects in the country. This role will be instrumental in delivering RMCI's first-generation programs as a General Contractor within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.Responsibilities:Ability to manage complex data center / mission-critical construction projects, or a large-scale program with a high degree of effectiveness, accuracy, and accountability.Effectively communicates and collaborates with Vice President(s) of Operations and Field Operations to align execution strategies across multiple projects and regions.Has overall responsibility for project team success, including alignment with RMCI culture and Core Values, in addition to:SafetyQualityScheduleClient satisfactionProfitabilityEnsures all Project Manager responsibilities are properly managed and executed across all assigned projects.Lead and/or support business development efforts, including:Client relationship development (hyperscalers, developers, colocation providers)Proposal strategy and deliveryPresentations and contract negotiationsEstablishes and maintains strong working relationships with:Owners (e.g., hyperscale clients)Engineers / design teamsTrade partners (especially MEP and mission-critical subs)Responsible for understanding and negotiating:Prime contractsSubcontractsPurchase ordersRisk allocation strategies specific to large-scale data center buildsEnsures change orders and contract amendments are executed timely and within signatory authority.Reviews and validates:Cost models and GMP structuresConstruction schedules (including fast-track/phased turnover strategies)Procurement plans for long-lead electrical/mechanical equipmentDrives successful execution of mission-critical scopes, including:Electrical infrastructure (MV/LV distribution, substations, switchgear, busway)Mechanical systems (cooling plants, CRAH/CRAC systems)Commissioning and turnover processesChampions the transition from preconstruction ? construction ? commissioning ? turnover, ensuring continuity and accountability across phases.Supports national expansion efforts and helps scale RMCI's presence in the data center market.Mentors and develops Project Managers and senior field leadership for future leadership roles.Qualifications:Ability to assume responsibility and effectively communicate with:Hyperscale / enterprise clientsExecutive leadershipProject teams and field operations10+ years in Project, Program, or Construction Management roles5+ years of experience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial/industrial construction (Data center experience strongly preferred)Strong understanding of:Fast-track construction delivery modelsPhased turnover / early energization strategiesHigh-reliability environments (redundancy, uptime requirements)Experience managing large-scale electrical and mechanical scopes, including coordination of critical systems:Substations / utility interfaceSwitchgear, transformers, PDUs, RPPsBackup generation and redundancy systemsFamiliarity with commissioning processes and turnover requirements for mission-critical facilitiesProven experience managing complex stakeholder environments and high-value contractsStrong industry network within:Data center developersEngineers/DesignersMission-critical subcontractorsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong leadership presence with excellent:Organizational skillsCommunication skills (verbal and written)Presentation capabilitiesDemonstrated success leading teams and delivering large-scale projects ($500M+)Education & Certifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Construction Management, or Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relative construction experience as a Project Manager, Construction Manager or Project/Construction ExecutiveExtensive relative construction experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.Safety Level:This is a safety sensitive position, and all applicable policies including drug test and background check will apply.
