Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in an oncology setting, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings in the Epic charting system.
• Administer chemotherapy and other medications, monitoring for side effects and patient tolerance.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to implement patient care strategies and facilitate treatment plans.
• Float to various UCSF facilities as needed to meet staffing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including COVID-19 and flu vaccination protocols.

Qualifications

• California RN License in hand at time of submission.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of oncology nursing experience, with experience in outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in Epic charting system mandatory.
• Ability to float and adapt to different healthcare environments.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred, with a background in radiation and pediatric oncology considered advantageous.
