We are looking for a proactive Legal Operations Specialist – Legal Support to join a growing team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will partner closely with the Director of Operations to coordinate legal matters, oversee document-driven workflows, and help keep high-priority initiatives moving efficiently. This position is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable handling sensitive information, and motivated by working across a broad range of operational and legal support activities.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate legal and operational initiatives by working with external counsel, internal stakeholders, and the Director of Operations to keep matters progressing on schedule.

• Review contracts and vendor-related agreements to identify key terms, obligations, and deadlines.

• Monitor active matters closely, maintain organized records, and raise issues to legal professionals when risks or exceptions require further review.

• Support the development of internal capabilities by assisting with cross-functional projects that improve workflows, documentation practices, and operational execution.

• Manage document-intensive processes, ensuring materials are accurate, complete, and handled with a high level of confidentiality.

• Prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly as new needs and time-sensitive projects arise.

• Maintain clear communication with senior outside advisors and help align follow-up actions to meet business and legal timelines.

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in legal support, operations, or a related business environment.
• Demonstrated experience working with legal and business documentation, including contracts, vendor agreements, insurance files, account opening materials, and trust or estate records.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track deadlines, manage competing priorities, and maintain accuracy across multiple concurrent matters.
• Confidence interacting with senior external counsel and other advisors in a clear and respectful manner.
• Solid technical proficiency and comfort using digital tools to manage documents, information, and workflow coordination.
• Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative in a small team setting.
• High level of discretion and reliability when handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Interest in a hands-on role that requires flexibility, ownership, and a willingness to contribute across both legal and operational functions.
