Front Desk Receptionist (Full-Time) - Pediatric Office in Cedarhurst (Five Towns)

A busy and well-regarded pediatric office in Cedarhurst is seeking professional, organized, and friendly Front Desk Receptionists to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on delivering compassionate care to children and their families and are looking for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Position Details:

• Full-Time (Up to 40 Hours/Week)
• Hourly Rate: $20 to $25/hour (based on experience)
• Flexible Schedule Required
• The office operates:
• Sunday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Monday Thursday: 7:00 AM 9:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM 1:00 PM

Reception staff must be open to working rotating shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, welcoming manner
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage follow-up calls
• Verify insurance and collect co-pays
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system
• Ensure efficient patient flow by coordinating with clinical staff
• Handle front desk administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Prior front desk or receptionist experience in a medical office preferred
• Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with multitasking and working under pressure
• Basic computer and EMR system proficiency
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Availability to work flexible shifts within operating hours
