Intake Attorney — Compassionate Client Advocate

The Intake Attorney serves as the first point of legal contact for prospective clients. In this critical role, you will evaluate potential cases, gather and analyze relevant facts, and determine case viability, all while delivering professional and compassionate experience to individuals seeking legal assistance. You will collaborate closely with our intake staff to ensure a seamless transition from initial inquiry through to case development. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Physical Requirements Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients to assess the merits and viability of potential cases Gather, review, and analyze relevant facts, documents, and background information presented by prospective clients Apply strong legal knowledge to make timely, well-informed decisions regarding case acceptance Clearly communicate legal options, next steps, and firm processes to prospective clients in an accessible and empathetic manner Collaborate with intake staff to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent client experiences Identify and escalate complex or high-priority matters appropriately Qualifications & Education Must have 5+ years of experience in legal practice or legal intake is preferred Must have a strong understanding of Personal Injury Must have the ability to quickly assess case viability based on legal merit, jurisdiction, and damages Must have prior experience in client-facing roles Personal Injury experience is preferred, but not required Must have superior client relations and people skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Confidential Jobs
