Some highlights of the OB Hospitalist opportunity include: · Providing call coverage and L&D support · Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients · Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department · Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives or advanced practice nurses · Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team · Member of patient safety and quality review committees · Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine · Extensive support from OB/GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology · Hartford Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU.
