Part-Time Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Therapist / Clinical Fellow (LGPC, LMSW, LGMFT, Psych
$45 - $50 per hourThe-Center-For-Trauma,-Stress,-and-Anxiety,-LLC
Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Therapist / Clinical Fellow (LGPC, LMSW, LGMFT, Psychology Associate) – Part-Time The Center for Trauma, Stress, and Anxiety (CTSA) is hiring part-time LGPCs, LMSWs, LGMFTs, and Psychology Associates for our Maryland outpatient practice. We think the early years of clinical practice matter, a lot. This is when you start figuring out how to move beyond theory and actually become a therapist. You learn how to sit with complexity, what to do when therapy gets stuck, how to use supervision well, how to conceptualize beyond the presenting problem, and what kinds of clinical work you want to become really good at. You shouldn't have to choose between flexibility and strong clinical development to do that. At CTSA, you'll have employer-paid supervision appropriate to your license, consistent referrals, experienced clinicians to learn from, and access to substantial training and consultation opportunities as you continue developing professionally. Compensation & Employment: CTSA clinicians are W-2 fee-for-service employees. This is not a salaried position. $45–$50 per completed clinical session/point , based on licensure, experience, and CTSA compensation tier Flexible part-time clinical caseload Compensation is earned based on completed clinical work Employer-paid clinical supervision appropriate to your license Flexible scheduling Hybrid in-person and telehealth practice Consistent referrals and caseload-building support Credentialing, billing, collections, intake, marketing, EHR, and administrative infrastructure provided by CTSA Access to clinical training, continuing education, consultation, and professional development opportunities at no cost Opportunity for compensation growth as you develop professionally and progress in your career Build Expertise, Not Just Hours Supervised clinical practice is an important stage of professional development. We don't think it should be only about accumulating hours or meeting the next licensing requirement. CTSA is building a more intentional pathway for clinicians who want to develop real areas of expertise. Beginning in 2027, CTSA will launch postgraduate fellowship and specialization opportunities , including structured pathways focused on trauma and anxiety treatment . These opportunities are not required as a condition of employment . They're being developed for clinicians who want more opportunities to learn, specialize, and deepen their clinical work. Depending on your interests and stage of development, opportunities may include: Advanced clinical training and continuing education Trauma-focused education and consultation Anxiety and exposure-based treatment education Case consultation with experienced clinicians Clinical seminars and focused learning experiences Exposure to evidence-informed and complementary treatment approaches Mentorship and professional consultation Opportunities to develop an area of clinical specialization Postgraduate fellowship and specialty pathway opportunities as these programs launch You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what kind of therapist you want to become. And you certainly don't need to arrive already specialized. We're interested in clinicians who are curious, thoughtful, receptive to feedback, and serious about getting better at what they do. Supervision Should Help You Become a Better Therapist CTSA provides employer-paid supervision appropriate to your license and stage of professional development , including supervision for LGPCs, LMSWs, LGMFTs, and Psychology Associates. We want supervision to be more than reporting what happened in your sessions and collecting a signature for your hours. Good supervision should help you think. It should give you somewhere to bring the case you can't quite figure out, the client who isn't getting better, the intervention that didn't land, or the moment in session that stayed with you afterward. We expect clinicians to ask questions, bring difficult cases into supervision, receive feedback, and gradually develop greater clinical judgment and confidence. You See Clients. We Build the Infrastructure Around You. Building a caseload shouldn't require you to simultaneously become an expert in insurance credentialing, billing, collections, marketing, and running a business. CTSA provides: Consistent client referrals Intake and scheduling support Insurance credentialing Billing and collections Marketing and practice development EHR and technology infrastructure Furnished professional office space Administrative and operational support Clinical consultation and professional community That gives you more room to focus on your clients and your development as a clinician. Clinical Work at CTSA CTSA is an outpatient mental health practice specializing in trauma, stress, anxiety, and related concerns . Our clinicians work with a wide range of presenting concerns, and we're especially interested in developing expertise in areas such as: Trauma and PTSD Anxiety disorders OCD and exposure-based treatment Attachment and relational concerns EMDR Somatic and body-based approaches Neurodivergence Integrative mental health Other trauma- and anxiety-related specialties We value thoughtful case conceptualization, strong therapeutic relationships, evidence-informed care, and clinicians who are willing to stay curious when the obvious intervention isn't working. Who We're Looking For You may be a good fit if you: Hold or are eligible to hold an active Maryland LGPC, LMSW, LGMFT, or Psychology Associate credential Want to build and maintain a consistent part-time clinical caseload Are looking for quality clinical supervision appropriate to your license and professional goals Take documentation, ethics, and clinical responsibility seriously Are receptive to feedback and willing to ask for help when you need it Want to continue developing your clinical skills Can work independently while also being part of a clinical team Are willing to provide both in-person and telehealth services based on client and practice needs Are interested in trauma, anxiety, or developing another area of clinical specialization Prior specialty training is welcome, but certainly not required or expected . We're looking for clinicians with the capacity and motivation to develop, not expecting provisionally licensed clinicians to already practice like someone who's been doing this for ten years. Flexibility Without Practicing in Isolation Part-time work can be a great fit for clinicians balancing family, doctoral training, other professional responsibilities, or simply wanting a smaller clinical caseload. But working part-time shouldn't mean being disconnected from your clinical community. At CTSA, part-time clinicians are still part of the practice. You'll have access to supervision, consultation, professional development, training opportunities, and colleagues to turn to when you need another perspective. You can build a role that fits your life without having to build a private practice around it. Where Can This Lead? We want clinicians to have somewhere to go as their careers develop. For master's-level provisionally licensed clinicians, independent licensure creates a pathway into CTSA's higher independently licensed compensation tiers. For Psychology Associates and other clinicians whose professional pathways look different, we'll work within the scope of your credential and professional goals while providing opportunities to continue developing your clinical expertise. Over time, clinicians may also have opportunities to: Develop deeper areas of clinical specialization Participate in advanced training and postgraduate programming Contribute to mentorship and clinical education Become involved in program development Pursue other clinical or leadership opportunities as qualifications and organizational needs align These paths aren't mandatory, and they don't happen automatically. They're opportunities for clinicians who want to continue growing within CTSA. Start Building the Clinician You Want to Become The early years of clinical practice shape how you think about clients, how you use supervision, how you respond when treatment gets difficult, and ultimately the kind of clinician you become. We take those years seriously. If you're looking for a part-time LGPC, LMSW, LGMFT, or Psychology Associate position in Maryland where you can receive employer-paid supervision, build a consistent caseload, develop your clinical skills, explore areas of specialization, and maintain flexibility in your schedule, we'd like to meet you. #J-18808-Ljbffr The-Center-For-Trauma,-Stress,-and-Anxiety,-LLC
