Role Description The Information Technology Specialist is a full‑time hybrid role based in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area, with the flexibility to perform some work from home. The specialist will support client environments by monitoring and maintaining networks, servers, and cloud‑based systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and security. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, managing user accounts and access, performing routine updates and patches, and documenting configurations and changes. The role includes working directly with clients to understand their needs, provide clear technical guidance, and deliver high‑quality customer service during onboarding, changes, and incident resolution. The specialist will also assist in evaluating new technologies and vendors, contributing to solution design and implementation that aligns with each client’s business objectives. Qualifications A foundation in Information Technology, with experience supporting business IT environments and core infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Cloud Platform Administration. Network Administration skills Troubleshooting expertise with experience problem solving using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.). Knowledge of Network Security principles security best practices. Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly Familiarity and experience using CRM's and ticketing systems. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple client requests, and work both independently and as part of a small team. Relevant certification (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent) or comparable hands‑on experience; associate or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
