Phlebotomist

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Phlebotomist in Norwood, Massachusetts ! This role is in person / onsite. Type: Five-month contract with opportunity for extension! Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 4:30pm Pay: $22.30 to $24.30 an hour Responsibilities of the Phlebotomist: Draw blood from pediatric patient population. Performing venipuncture/capillary blood collection procedures. Process all lab specimens including verifying patient identifiers, barcoding, centrifuging, pouring off, accessioning, creating packing lists and packaging specimens to reference lab at correct temperatures. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and processing of laboratory specimens Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and rooming patients Support providers with clinical and administrative tasks as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment Provide outstanding patient service with a warm, professional demeanor Qualifications for the Phlebotomist: HS Diploma or GED Graduate of a phlebotomy training program preferred 2 years of phlebotomy experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment Why work for Adecco?
