Sales Engineer
Location: Remote / US Type: Full-time
You're a cloud-savvy engineer with a passion for problem-solving and a gift for explaining technical concepts in a clear, compelling way. Maybe you're currently in support, DevOps, or solutions architecture—and now you're ready to apply that expertise in a more customer-facing, strategic role. You thrive in fast-moving environments, love engaging with both people and technology, and bring curiosity, clarity, and confidence to every interaction.
As a key part of our go-to-market team, you'll be the technical voice of N2W—helping prospects and customers understand, trust, and succeed with our solutions.
- Deliver engaging demos and presentations that highlight N2W's capabilities and unique value
- Serve as the technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to POC to close
- Translate business needs into tailored backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Respond to technical sections of RFPs, proposals, and compliance questionnaires
- Support channel partners and AWS co-sell motions with product expertise
- Stay sharp on cloud trends, competitors, and customer pain points
- Travel occasionally to represent N2W at industry events, summits, and AWS conferences
- Collaborate closely with Product, CS, and Marketing teams to provide feedback and improve GTM efforts
A strong foundation in AWS and/or Azure infrastructure (certifications are a plus, but not required). Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments, cloud networking, IAM, and storage. Proven ability to communicate complex ideas simply and confidently, both verbally and in writing. Familiarity with backup, DR, or security tools (native or 3rd party) is a plus. A consultative approach to problem-solving and solution design. A strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow. A team-first mindset with a balance of professionalism and personality.
