Sales Engineer

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing organization to identify a Sales Engineer who enjoys working directly with customers, solving complex technical challenges, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering, operations, quality, and commercial teams

• Support application development, product qualifications, troubleshooting, and commercialization efforts

• Review customer requirements, RFQs, specifications, and technical proposals

• Identify new business opportunities and help expand existing customer relationships

• Provide on-site customer support and travel throughout North America

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Metallurgy, or a related technical field

• 5+ years of technical sales, application engineering, product engineering, or customer-facing engineering experience

• Manufacturing industry experience required

• Background in specialty materials, metals, chemicals, powder metallurgy, or advanced manufacturing preferred

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills

• Ability to travel approximately 35-45%
