That's why we foster a culture centered on respect, accountability, teamwork, and continuous development—providing opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career.What You'll Be Doing:As a Maintenance Technician, you will:Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues including HVAC systems, plumbing, appliances, electrical, carpentry, drywall repair, and paintingMaintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulationsRespond promptly and professionally to maintenance service requests in a high-volume community environmentCommunicate effectively with residents and office staff regarding repairs, timelines, and updatesSupport apartment turns, grounds maintenance, and snow removal effortsHelp maintain exceptional service standards and contribute to a positive resident experienceParticipate in the on-call rotation and assist with emergency maintenance situations as neededCompensation & Incentives:$22.00 – $25.00 per hour$1,200 Sign-On BonusUp to 50% Rent DiscountProperty Staff Shared Renewal CommissionsMorgan Essentials: $300 QuarterlyOn-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phoneMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchGenerous Paid Time Off, including 10 paid holidays and sick leaveHours & Schedule:Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMPaid rotating on-call participation requiredMust be available for emergency maintenance needs, including weather-related events and snow removalSchedule subject to change based on business needs.What We're Looking For:Active, valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicleAbility to live within a 30-minute commute of the propertyHVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferredMinimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing or a related fieldHands-on experience with HVAC systems, plumbing repairs, appliances, and general maintenance troubleshootingBoiler experience preferred; Lochinvar experience is a plusAbility to effectively manage work orders, apartment turns, and daily maintenance responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service and communication skillsComfortable using mobile technology, email, and property management softwareDependable team player who takes pride in their work and is committed to continuous learning and professional growth#AC6118If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
