Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

Location: Pasadena, TX 77507
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join a busy distribution warehouse in Pasadena, TX. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, move, stage, and organize products throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have previous forklift and warehouse experience, understand proper material-handling procedures, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment. Experience working around industrial or chemical products is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and stage products and materials.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Move materials to designated warehouse, staging, and shipping areas.
• Assist with receiving, order pulling, staging, and preparation of outbound shipments.
• Verify products, quantities, and shipping/receiving information for accuracy.
• Maintain organized inventory and properly store materials in assigned locations.
• Inspect products and materials for visible damage and report discrepancies.
• Follow warehouse procedures for safe product handling and storage.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and customer-specific handling requirements.

Requirements

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to safely load, unload, stage, and move palletized materials.
• Comfortable working in an industrial warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and proper material handling.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the full 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Experience in a chemical, industrial, or third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse is a plus.
