Pediatric PACU Registered Nurse (NYPC)

We are looking for a compassionate Pediatric PACU RN to join our client’s leading outpatient specialty care team in New York City. This role provides hands‑on pre‑and post‑anesthesia care to children in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment. The annual base salary range is $110,000 to $135,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer. Job Responsibilities Deliver pre‑ and post‑procedure nursing care for pediatric patients undergoing anesthesia or sedation Conduct assessments, start IVs, and monitor central lines as needed Support safe patient recovery and provide discharge instructions to children and their families Collaborate with anesthesia providers, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure high‑quality care Educate patients and caregivers about symptom management, recovery, and follow‑up care Maintain accurate EMR documentation and support quality improvement initiatives Assist with operational and nursing duties in a fast‑paced environment Job Requirements NYS RN license required BSN required Minimum 2 years of nursing experience Prior pediatric PACU, perioperative, procedural, or critical care experience preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing patient needs Why Join This Team Work with a collaborative and compassionate clinical team Competitive salary with opportunities for growth Please note: Official communication from Atlas Search or its employees will only come from email addresses ending in @atlassearchllc.com.
