PCC Habaneros Shift Lead

Job Title
The purpose of this position is to manage shifts to provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service, to make and serve food items according to specific recipes.
Essential Job Functions
The employee in this position will have the following essential job functions:
- Oversee the Habanero's Dining Area and Line, keeping us stocked and able to serve while open.
- Oversee all stations during service and make sure stations remain as clean as possible and filled.
- Uphold employees to a high standard of work ethic and performance.
- Check employees clock ins and outs and make sure all their jobs are complete before they leave.
- Make sure the cash drawer is counted and put back in the safe.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the manager.
Education
It is required/preferred that the person in this position has a high school diploma.
Experience
It is required/preferred that the person in this position have at least 6 months of food service experience.
Supervision
The person in this position will supervise all part-time student workers in Habaneros. The person in this position will report to the Service Manager, Assistant Director, and the Director of Dining Services.
Work Environment
The person in this position will work in a fast-paced environment. They need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work long hours on their feet.
Equipment
The person in this position will use the following equipment: Cash Register, Steam Tables, Warmer, Beverage Machines, Kitchen Utensils, Panini Presses. Supervisors will also be trained on food preparation in the cafeteria. Equipment there includes: Knives, Deep Friers, Steam Ovens, and Mixers.
