This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and gain hands‑on experience in the world of financial management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, and utilizing Paychex and ADP systems. Responsibilities Maintain the General Ledger: responsible for maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger. Prepare Journal Entries: prepare timely and accurate journal entries in accordance with established accounting standards and procedures. Utilize Paychex and ADP: use for payroll processing, tax filing, and benefits administration. Perform Other Accounting Tasks: assist with financial reports, analysis, and budget preparation as needed. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: at least 2 years in an accounting or finance role, with experience in general ledger, journal entries, Paychex, and ADP. Skills: strong analytical, attention to detail, independent and team work, strong communication skills. Software: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with QuickBooks or Sage is a plus. Certifications: CPA or CMA is a plus, but not required.
