Facilities Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Facilities Manager to lead the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of their manufacturing and office facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in facilities management, maintenance operations, capital projects, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS). In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting business operations through strategic planning, infrastructure management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive facilities management experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or production environment
• Demonstrated success leading Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and maintaining regulatory compliance
• Proven experience managing facility renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and capital improvement projects
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and other critical building systems
• Experience negotiating vendor agreements and managing service contracts
• Effective leadership skills with experience developing, mentoring, and managing teams
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Thorough understanding of OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental and safety regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance programs, and building systems management
• Develop and execute long-term facility plans focused on growth, modernization, and space optimization
• Lead construction, renovation, expansion, and infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
• Manage facility budgets, capital expenditures, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective operations
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainability initiatives
• Supervise internal maintenance personnel and third-party contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and safe practices
• Foster a strong culture of safety through training, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement efforts
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize facility needs and support business objectives
• Maintain accurate facility records, permits, compliance documentation, and maintenance reports
