Assistant Wrestling Coaching position at Declo High School, Declo Idaho Winter 2026-2027school year The JV Head Wrestling Coach/Varsity Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Wrestling Coach to support the overall development and success of the wrestling program. Specific duties include: Assist the Varsity Head Coach with daily practices, meet preparation, technique development, conditioning and overall program operations. Teach and reinforce proper wrestling fundamentals, techniques, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and character. Ensure student-athletes follow all school, district, conference, and IHSAA rules and expectations. Salary based on the current district stipend schedule posted on the district web page.. Qualifications: Must have a working knowledge of the game. Coach Job Description is posted on the district web site under the Job Hub tab. Certified staff preferred. If a certified employee is not secured for this position, a non-certificated/community member may be hired. In this case, salary will be paid over the three month period in which the sport takes place.
