Quality Inspector Responsibilities:

• Performing first article, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance
• Utilizing precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, and other testing devices to validate dimensions and tolerances
• Reviewing manufacturing documentation, work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality records to ensure adherence to established standards
• Accurately documenting inspection and testing results in quality databases, ERP systems, logs, and related reporting tools
• Identifying, documenting, and communicating product defects and nonconformances to appropriate personnel
• Supporting investigations and root cause analysis efforts to determine source of quality issues and recommend corrective actions
• Verifying implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions
• Collaborating with other teams to resolve quality concerns and prevent reoccurrence
• Assisting with internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections as required

Requirements for Quality Inspector:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, quality inspection/assurance, or related field preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Technical certification or vocational training in manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering technology, or related field preferred
• Combination of education and experience may be considered
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify defects and process deviations
• Working knowledge of quality inspection techniques, sampling methods, and manufacturing quality systems
• Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, data entry systems, and ERP software
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours; lift/move up to 30 pounds
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team environment
