Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient pharmacy operations in Upstate New York. The assignment is ideal for professionals ready to start promptly and work a 13-week contract with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Restocking Pyxis medication cabinets
• Delivering medications to hospital floors
• Handling incoming calls to the pharmacy
• Collaborating with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient medication distribution

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid New York Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an inpatient pharmacy technician
• Knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts
• Five 8-hour shifts per week

Location: Ithaca, NY (Upstate New York)
