Locums - Boston, Massachusetts, NP/PA Neurosurgery Opening Start Date September 7, 2026 Contract Length 13 Weeks Schedule 3 shifts per week 13-hour shifts 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM No nights No holiday coverage required Practice Setting Hospital-Based Neurosurgery Adult patient population Inpatient coverage only Coverage Details Providers begin each day rounding with Neurosurgery residents Review and implement patient care plans Enter orders and manage ongoing patient care Evaluate patients requiring additional assessment Assist with discharge planning and discharge orders Patient care responsibilities only No operating room responsibilities Neurosurgery residents assist in the operating room Patient Population Adult Neurosurgery patients Preferred Skills Removal of Hemovac drains Removal of JP drains Experience managing postoperative Neurosurgery patients EMR Epic Requirements Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required Neurosurgery experience required Minimum of 1 year Neurosurgery experience required Active Massachusetts license required Experience with inpatient Neurosurgery patient management preferred Why Massachusetts?
