Position: Front of House (Gelato Server, Register, Coffee Corner, Dining Room- Gelato maker)

Job Type: Part-time

Hourly Rate: Dependent upon skills and experience

Our Products.

We use state-of-the-art Italian technology to manufacture and preserve our gelato. Our dairy gelato is manufactured with fluid milk, cream, eggs, among other ingredients that provide high levels of protein.

 

Front of House -Tasks and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Serving up our delicious and freshly made gelato & ice pops with a smile! Working upfront with your team greeting every guest, offering samples, making suggestions, and ensuring each guest leaves happier than they came in! Following exact training, food safety regulations, and company guidelines to consistently serve all of our products (gelato, ice pops, coffee corner items, and beverages). You will work alongside your teammates and leadership team to help the shop run consistently and smoothly while open for business or while closing. You must be comfortable under pressure and/or fast-paced environments.

Our FOH staff will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

* You have a passion for customer service and delivering an exceptional experience for our guests.

* You integrate fun as a way of being and working.

* You communicate with honesty & kindness and create the space for others to do the same.

* ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.

* Your availability must reflect the needs of the business, which may change from time to time. The Store Manager determines the availability needs, and the schedule could include a combination of shift times, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

* All Team Members are expected to be reliable, and on time for every shift.

* All Team Members are expected to be available to work during the holiday season.

 

 

Shift Leader -Tasks and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Your “hands-on” leadership should include building orders, suggestive selling, making product, and interacting with guests. Shift Leaders will be responsible for opening and/or closing the store by delegating duties, assigning specific tasks, and ensuring Team Members are prepared for each day. They will be responsible for following checklists to set up, stock, and close the store. They will be held accountable for various administrative duties including: end-of-shift deposits that should be processed accurately against the POS reporting. Shift Leaders should be experts on our menu, recipes, and should be comfortable working at each station in the store. Shift Leaders are a part of the leadership team, so they will assist in ensuring guest satisfaction and interacting with guests, and engaging in service recovery when issues arise.

Shift Leaders will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

* You should be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

* ServSafe certification is a plus, but not required.
