HSE Supervisor

As the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) Advisor, you will lead the application of professional HS&E practices at your project site, provide expert advice to operations teams and clients, guide HS&E personnel, and ensure safety management across environments. Essential Responsibilities Hazard Assessments, Inspections, and Audits: Develop and conduct hazard assessments to identify unsafe conditions, perform focus audits of HS&E plan requirements, report findings, and verify corrective actions. HS&E Process Guidance: Provide on‑site guidance to operations management on implementing company HS&E programs and address issues related to emergency response, performance metrics, and safety systems. Mentorship and Support: Mentor HS&E Coordinators and Advisors, improving their effectiveness. Data Collection & Reporting: Assess corrective action effectiveness from incidents, inspections, and audits; analyze safety data to recommend improvements. Incident Management: Lead complex incident investigations, identify root causes, and train teams on investigation processes. Occupational Injury/Illness Management: Support supervisors in managing injuries and illnesses, monitor return‑to‑work processes, and implement preventive measures. Qualifications Four or more years of practical HS&E experience (telecommunications experience preferred). Formal Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) education is an asset. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong communication skills to persuade stakeholders across all levels. Ability to pass pre‑access requirements: clean driver’s abstract, drug screen, breathalyzer. Work Conditions Hybrid role with work‑from‑home flexibility combined with travel to Ledcor sites. Travel required up to 50–75% among Ledcor offices and project sites.
