Staff AssistantThe Division of Student Success seeks an experienced and professional staff assistant providing support for the Office of the Vice President for Student Success and the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards. This position provides high-level administration and operational support including front desk support for two offices, management of daily office operations, point of contact for visitor reception, and a high level of customer service.ResponsibilitiesPerforms office duties, including answering phones, directing calls to appropriate parties, data entry, filing, and handling general inquiries.Provides administrative support, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings/conferences, and maintaining/ordering office supplies.Serves as a liaison with other departments and constituencies in the resolution of matters concerning the activities and operations of the department.Greets and directs visitors.Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.Serve as the primary, welcoming point of contact for the office, greeting all students, parents, faculty, staff, and visitors warmly and professionally.Office of Student Conduct Support: Provide clear, helpful orientation to visitors to the Office of Student Conduct regarding the conduct process, timelines, and next steps, without discussing the specific merits or facts of open cases.
