Fitness Desk AssociateLIVunLtd is seeking a reliable Fitness Desk Associate to join our team in Huntersville, North Carolina. As a Fitness Desk Attendant you will support the Fitness Department by interacting with members, other staff members, and assisting the department to maintain a clean and safe environment. Fitness Desk Associates are expected to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, while also delivering a high level of customer service. You must have a positive attitude and be dedicated to making each and every resident's experience as enjoyable as possible.Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available.Essential ResponsibilitiesEnsure an exceptional level of customer service is being provided to all members, clients, and guests.Monitor safety of all participants while using fitness equipmentMaintain a superiorly clean fitness center, while also helping the overall facility maintain standards of cleanlinessEnergize and motivate clients and members to provide a fun and safe experiencePromptly answer phone calls, requests, and questions.Assist coworkers in any manner necessary to maintain a collective, smooth effort in providing excellent services.Respond to member inquiries in a timely manner, with accurate and thorough information.Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and presentable fitness area at all times.Tour fitness spaces to spot check cleanliness and showroom quality conditions.Always exceed member's expectations and needs.Wear location approved uniform for each specific LIVunLtd location where you are working.Maintain strong communication with LIVunLtd coworkers.Provide emergency first aid if neededAdhere and adapt to all current and new LIVunLtd policy, procedures and initiatives.Perform additional duties and responsibilities specific to the location / building and upon the request of your manager.Skills and QualificationsCPR/AED Certification and/or willingness to obtain certifications within the first 30 days of hireFlexibility to work days, nights and / or weekends Must be available in evenings and Saturdays as neededMust have the ability to communicate clearly and effectivelyMust have excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.Must be a team player, patient, diplomatic, self-motivated, organized, have excellent verbal skills, and a positive and enthusiastic attitudeAbility to observe interactions between members and guests to ensure incidents do not ariseAbility to stand for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to safely lift and move up to 40 lbsBenefitsComplimentary individual membership to Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics CenterDiscounts to our various programming (Energy Bar, Summer Camps, Pre-school, etc)Growth opportunitiesA fun, friendly, professional working environmentCompetitive compensation within industry standardsThis job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
