We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Salon Coordinator to join our vibrant grooming and pet salon team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our salon, managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients and their beloved pets. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help create a positive environment that keeps clients coming back. Duties

• Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing outstanding customer service at all times
• Book, confirm, and reschedule appointments (by phone, text, or booking app)
• Handle client inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain accurate records of appointments, client details, and service history
• Provide walk-in grooming services: nail trims, gland expressions and be capable to jump in and bathe dogs as needed.
• Coordinate daily operations by managing calendars, supporting pet grooming schedules, and ensuring the salon runs smoothly
• Keep client/pet records up to date — vaccine records, grooming preferences, notes from past visits
• Text or call clients when their dog is ready for pickup
• Keep the lobby tidy and welcoming
• Restock self-service and retail items (shampoo, treats, towels)
• Cleaning and Sanitizing. We are a self-service dog wash and grooming facility; we clean and sanitize all day long.

Qualifications

• Previous professional dog grooming experience (at least 6 month in a professional salon)
• Skilled at dog nail trimming (both clippers and grinders)
• Familiarity of dog breeds and coats
• Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional attitude
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent time management skills
• Point of Sale experience
