About the Position

Position: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Farmington, CT 06030
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Compensation: $3,050 Weekly
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
Shift: 10-Hour Rotating Shifts (9:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

• Independently circulate a wide range of surgical procedures with confidence and clinical excellence.
• Demonstrate proven expertise in  complex Orthopedic, Spine, and Neurosurgical procedures .
• Provide vigilant intraoperative patient advocacy while maintaining the highest standards of sterility and safety.
• Prepare operating suites, surgical equipment, and specialized instrumentation before each procedure.
• Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and perioperative staff.
• Accurately document surgical events and patient care throughout every phase of the procedure.
• Assist with  Da Vinci robotic surgeries whenever applicable.
• Maintain readiness for variable schedules, on-call assignments, weekends, and holiday coverage.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of Operating Room RN experience (or equivalent combined OR experience) required.
• Circulating experience is mandatory.
• Scrub experience is highly preferred , though not required.
• Strong independent experience circulating  Orthopedic, Spine, and Neurosurgical procedures is essential.
• Experience with  vascular procedures and  Da Vinci robotic surgery is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform independently in a high-acuity surgical environment.
• Active Registered Nurse license and all applicable certifications required.
