About the Role:
Family Partners of Minnesota is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Kasson, MN. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
• Transport and accompany clients to medical appointments, community activities, and social outings
• Administer medications and follow health care protocols as directed
• Foster independence and skill-building through positive reinforcement and person-centered care
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in direct care, caregiving, or human services preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and team-oriented demeanor
• Willingness to complete required DSP training and certifications
• Ability to handle physical demands of the role, including lifting and assisting with mobility
