REMOTE Patent Attorney / Patent Agent

A midsize patent counseling and prosecution law firm seeks a Patent Agent or Patent Attorney with 2+ years of experience.  Role is fully remote.  Position requries 2+ years of patent prosecution experience. Compensation includes a base salary of $120,000-220,000 + bonuses + comprehensive benefits (401K; health, dental, vision insurance; etc).

Responsibilities

• Meeting with inventors and drafting patent applications for filing in the USPTO;
• Prosecuting patent applications before the USPTO, including interviewing Examiners;
• Proactively managing a docket of cases across a blend of clients from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies; and
• Assisting with other prosecution/counseling matters including: Drafting noninfringement and invalidity opinions; and conducting due diligence investigations and performing freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses under the supervision of the firm’s partners.
