5–25 hours per week
Additional hours available based upon referrals.
Position Summary
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides evidence-based speech and language evaluations, treatment planning, and intervention services for infants, toddlers, preschool-aged children, and their families participating in Conscious Puzzles Early Intervention Program.
Services are delivered using a family-centered, trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach designed to improve communication, language development, feeding (when qualified), social communication, and overall developmental outcomes.
The SLP collaborates closely with occupational therapists, behavioral specialists, developmental specialists, mental health clinicians, pediatricians, and family members.
Essential Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual speech therapy
- Parent coaching and caregiver education
- Complete developmental screenings
- Participate in IFSP/IEP meetings when applicable
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Maintain timely documentation
- Submit treatment notes within 24 hours
- Complete progress reports
- Recommend adaptive communication devices when appropriate
- Collaborate with pediatricians and specialists
- Participate in clinical consultations
- Provide telehealth services when appropriate
- Follow California Early Start and IDEA Part C regulations
- Maintain HIPAA compliance
- Participate in quality assurance activities

Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- California SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- CFY considered depending on supervision availability
- CPR Certification
- Current NPI
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Valid California Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Current background clearance

- Documentation submitted within 24 hours
- Maintain 95% attendance
- Family satisfaction goal of 90%+
- Compliance with documentation standards
- Active participation in interdisciplinary meetings
- Maintain productivity goals established by the program
