What You'll Do

• Cook proteins and hot menu items according to Lenwich recipes and standards
• Prepare fresh ingredients daily, including slicing, chopping, portioning, and assembling products
• Build sandwiches and wraps to spec during high-volume service
• Manage grill and hot stations during peak service periods
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and food safety procedures
• Label, date, and rotate products using FIFO procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and workspace
• Assist with inventory, stocking, and receiving deliveries
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen team members
• Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant, deli, sandwich shop, grill, or prep experience preferred
• Ability to operate deli equipment such as slicers, scales, and grills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and handle multiple tasks at once
• Positive attitude and team-first mentality
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Have

• Experience in a high-volume food service setting
• Knowledge of various meats, cheeses, and deli products
• Ability to make product recommendations to customers
• Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish, are a plus
