Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will Do:Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of basic to moderate scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.Execute actions as directed by senior staff and project management.Engage in cross-team collaboration and align with expectations of leadership team.Manage ESXi, VCenter and Microsoft Windows domainsExperience with Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.Experience with hardware RAID, hardware and software encryption and server management tools.Perform data backup and restore, using industry best practice.Install and configure software applications requested by end users.Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.Travel required as business needs dictate to other US Domestic locations, up to 10% per year.Full time 100% Onsite position.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Experience with Windows and/or Linux.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience Deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user data.Experience with cloning techniques.Use and guide use of automation tools e.g. Ansible.Experience with operating system concepts and implementations.Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy).Experience with network services related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.).Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware.Experience with an IT incident/service request system.What We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
