Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Case Manager on behalf of a local organization. This is not an internal position with Express.


Are you passionate about helping people overcome barriers, access training, and build successful careers? This role provides career guidance, job-readiness support, employment assistance, and ongoing case management services to individuals participating in workforce development programs.


Key Responsibilities


• Recruit and enroll eligible individuals into workforce programs
• Explain program services, benefits, and eligibility requirements
• Assess participants' employment, education, and training needs
• Develop individualized career and employment plans
• Provide career counseling, job-readiness training, and job-search assistance
• Connect participants with training programs, employers, schools, and community resources
• Help individuals identify and overcome barriers to employment
• Maintain accurate case notes, eligibility documents, and program records
• Monitor participant progress and required outcomes
• Provide follow-up support related to employment, education, and career development
• Build relationships with employers, schools, and community partners
• Conduct worksite visits throughout Andrew, Buchanan, Clinton, and DeKalb counties
• Assist with job fairs, workshops, field trips, and other workforce activities


Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field required
• Experience working with adults, youth, businesses, schools, or community organizations preferred
• Case management, workforce development, grant-funded program, or program-monitoring experience is helpful
• Strong communication, organization, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, internet applications, and database systems
• Dependable, self-motivated, positive, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team


Additional Requirements


• Valid driver's license with chauffeur classification
• Reliable, insured transportation
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
• Occasional overtime may be required
